The Central Instrument Facility houses sophisticated high-end analytical equipment to facilitate advanced research in Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, and Materials Technology for researchers, academia, and industry partners across the North Eastern region.
High-resolution Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrophotometer for qualitative and quantitative functional group identification in solids, liquids, and polymers.
Double beam UV-Visible spectrophotometer for optical absorption, kinetics, bandgap calculations, and quantitative spectral analysis.
High-speed refrigerated centrifuge and thermal cyclers for biomolecule fractionation, DNA amplification, and biochemistry protocols.
