The NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) report is an initiative by the Government of India to rank higher educational institutions in the country based on various parameters. NIRF was launched by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (now Ministry of Education) on September 29, 2015.
The framework uses several parameters to evaluate institutions, including Teaching, Learning and Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RPC), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI), and Perception (PR).
