DHSK College Internship Cell

Integrating Internship, Apprenticeship, and Community Engagement into Undergraduate Curriculum under NEP 2020 FYUGP/FYIPGP framework.

About the Internship Framework

The National Education Policy 2020 envisions an inclusive, value-based education system that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and social responsibility. Aligned with this vision, D.H.S.K. College (Autonomous), Dibrugarh, integrates Internship and Community Engagement into its undergraduate curriculum under the FYUGP/FYIPGP framework. These components are designed to extend learning beyond the classroom, preparing students to meet real-world challenges with skill and empathy. Internships provide practical exposure, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and professional application. Community Engagement encourages students to connect with society, understand grassroots issues, and develop leadership and civic values. These initiatives are not mere academic formalities, but structured experiences designed to foster holistic development. This guideline document outlines the roles, responsibilities, and procedures governing such activities, as coordinated by the College’s Internship Cell. It reflects both the University’s directives and the College’s commitment to cultivating responsible, innovative, and socially aware graduates.
