A One-Day International Workshop on “Competencies Development For Biodiversity Conservation With Special Reference To Ne India” was jointly organized by the Department of Botany, Department of Zoology, IQAC DHSK College and IQAC Tinsukia College in association with Zoological Society of Assam (ZSA) on 27th March 2024. The main aim of the workshop was to enhance student's critical thinking by identifying the knowledge and skills needed for pursuing pathways in biodiversity conservation. The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Ramesh Boonratana, Retd. Professor (conservation biology), Mahidol University, Thailand, Regional Vice-Chair, IUCN SSC Primate Specialist Group and Editor-in-Chief, Asian Primates Journal.
