A one day workshop on the "Basics of UGC NET/SLET" was organized by the Department of English on 28th September, 2024 for the PG present as well as ex students of the department. The workshop included two technical sessions. For the first session the invited speaker was Dr. Lakshminath Kagyung, Asst. Prof., Dept. of English, Dibrugarh University. For the second session the speakers were Aniket Arora, Kaushik Bhuyan, Dr. Hanifa Rahman and Swati Chakraborty respectively. All the speakers deliberated on the varied aspects related to both the exams including strategies and sources to be followed. The students, both present, outgoing and ex, found the workshop to be quite beneficial in regard to their preparations for the exams.
