International Mother Language Day observed at DHSK College , organized by Department of Assamese. 21.02.2022.
International Mother Language Day is a worldwide annual observation. Celebration of the same has held on 21stn February to promote honour and affection towards linguistic and cultural diversity. In this occasion, the Department of Assamese of DHSK College celebrated the International Mother Language Day, 21st February 2022 in association with IQAC. The Day started with the inaugural speech of Dr S k Saikia, Principal of DHSK College. Followed by an invited lecture by Professor Pona Mahanta, renowned Critic and Shakespeare Expert and Retired Professor, Dept of English, Dibrugarh University. The aim of the lecture is to aware the student regarding the multilingual diversity, communal harmony etc. In this Day good number of student, faculty and guest are attended there.
