ONE DAY WORKSHOP
Translation: It’s Theory and Practice
One Day Workshop on “ Translation: It’s Theory and Practice” was organized on 22nd December 2021 by Department of Assamese, DHSK College at Srimanta Sankardev Sabhakakhya. The inaugural speech was delivered by the Principal of DHSK College Dr Sashi kanta Saikia. Dr Monmi Baruah anchored the programme and the Senior Professor Ananta Teron was delivered welcome speech. Sri Mausum Baruah, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Salt brook Academy, resource person on this workshop. He focused the theory part of translation and also he said the in this present situation translation is very valuable for young generation. A good number of student, faculty were present at the workshop and interacted with the resource person. Anjumoni Phukon, Head of the Assamese Department delivering vote of thanks.
