The department of Botany,
DHSK College, organized a national webinar on “Fungi and its different aspects
with special reference to black fungus and its relevance during Covid-19
pandemic” on 22nd July, 2021. The
resource persons for the webinar were Dr. Mriganka Baruah, Medicine Specialist
and Diabetologist, Dr. Taranga Hazarika, Surgical Consultant, Sanjivini
Hospital, Dibrugarh, Dr Nabajit Hazarika, Assistant Professor, Dept. of
Environmental Science, Nagaland University and Dr. Jintu Sarma, Assistant
Professor and HOD, Botany, Guwahati College. Dr Gitamoni Dutta and Mr. Ambarish
Bhuyan, Assistant Professors of Botany Department of DHSK College were the Joint
Coordinators of the webinar. Dr. Alakananda Baruah, HOD of Botany Department of
DSHK College was the modulator of the programme and Dr. Sashi Kanta Saikia,
Principal of DHSK College was the inaugurator.
