An Inter-departmental short story writing competition was organized by the Association of English Studies, Department of English, D.H.S.K College among the UG students. The purpose was to provide a platform for the young and talented writers to showcase their creativity. The flyer was forwarded to the Heads of the Department of our college to circulate among the students and to encourage them to participate in the competition; Event started at around 10 a.m. Student's from various departments participated in the event. 1st prize was secured by Chiranjib Handique, Dept of Political Science, 2nd prize was secured by Sharodi Hazarika, Dept of English and the 3rd prize was secured by Aniket Singh Arora, Dept of English. The winners were awarded prize money and certificates.
