The Department of Mathematics, DHSK College, Dibrugarh organized a Mathematics Training and Talent Search Programme (MTTS) on October 9-10, 2023. The event aimed to improve students' understanding of Real Analysis and Linear Algebra. Professor S. Kumaresan, President of MTTS, and Professor V M Sholapurakar, Adjunct Professor, Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana, Pune, served as resource persons.
Dr. S K Saikia, the Principal of DHSK College, inaugurated the event, and Dr. Devanjan Hazarika, the Head of the Department of Mathematics, welcomed everyone. Dr. Devanjan Hazarika and Dr. Amitav Doley, Assistant Professor, DHSK College, jointly coordinated the programme.
A total of 53 students from various colleges nearby Dibrugarh District, including DHSK College, Dibru College, Digboi College, Tinsukia College, Sadiya College, Women's College Tinsukia, Silapathar College, participated in the programme. The initiative provided a platform for students to enhance their fundamental concepts in mathematics.
