Ceremonial Distribution of Appreciation Certificates for Scooters under Dr. Banikanta kakati Merit Award Scheme on 16.12.2025 at DHSK College (Autonomous).

On 16 December 2025, the ceremonial distribution of Appreciation Certificates for Scooters under the Dr. Banikanta Kakati Merit Award was organised at D.H.S.K. College (Autonomous) in the august presence of Cabinet Minister Shri Prashanta Phukan. D.H.S.K. College (Autonomous) was entrusted by the Government of Assam with the responsibility of verification and distribution of the Dr. Banikanta Kakati Merit Award certificates to 232 awardees, comprising 130 girls and 102 boys. The event was successfully conducted under the active leadership of Dr. Apurba Dutta, Coordinator, Dr. Banikanta Kakati Merit Award Certificate Distribution Committee, along with his dedicated team. This special award function celebrated the exceptional achievements of young scholars who secured 80% and above in the HSSLC Examination 2025, under the inspiring theme “Merit with Mobility—where talent meets wheels and dreams take off.” The programme was hosted by Dr. Sudarshana Borah, Assistant Joint Coordinator of the Committee. The welcome address was delivered by the Principal, D.H.S.K. College (Autonomous), Dr. Sashi Kanta Saikia. The event was attended by awardees, guardians, students, and several faculty members of the college, including the Vice Principal Dr. Partha Ganguly, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Dipankoj Goi, IQAC, and Member Secretary, Academic Council Dr. J. P. Phukon . A total of 117 certificates were distributed during the programme, while the remaining certificates will be distributed by 19 December 2025.
