Mr Kaustav Saikia, Assistant Employment Officer (AEO) gave a brief awareness on the scheme. Students of 5th and 7th semesters from all departments participated in the programme. The main objective of the programme was to sensitize the students about the ongoing registration to the PMIS portal and also about different organizations across India where they undergo internships with financial assistance. The scheme aims to provide young people with practical work experience and paid internships in leading companies across India.
An awareness cum sensitization programme on Prime Ministers Internship Scheme (PMIS) was organised by Internship Cell and Information, Career Guidance and Placement Centre (ICGPC) in collaboration with District Employment Exchange, Dibrugarh.
